Wertheim’s Operation in Cervical Cancer Patients

Abstract

          There were thirty six cases of cervical cancer whom had received RHND operation at Ratchaburi Hospital during 1 July 2002 to 31 October 2004. Most of them were invasive squamous cell carcinoma (86.1%) and FIGO stage IB1 (91.7%). There were 94.5% of these patients have had regular follow up. There were three recurrent cases (8.3%), two of these recurred at vaginal stump and the other recurred at left supraclavicular nodes. At the present time, all of these patients are alive. Thirty-five cases were alive without any lesion.
