Abstract

43 patients (17 boys and 26 girls), a total of 64 teeths with necrotic primary teeth or periapical root resorption, received pulpectomy with Vltapex® paste. All were folIowed-up clinically and radiographically 6-38 months. 96.88% of cases were clinically and radiographically successful. The advantages of the Vitapex® paste were that its resorbed from the apical tissue in one week to one month, did not set to a hard mass and was apparently harmless to permanent tooth germs.
