A Case Report of Large Goiter Causing Difficult Intubation

Abstract

          A case report of a 34 -year-old woman presented with large goiter causing difficult intubation. Airwayassessment revealed Mallampati class lll and laryngoscopic view grade IV. Tracheal intubation was successful with a technique of awakefiberoptic intubation. Thyroidectomy was done under general anesthesia.After observed overnight, the endotracheal tube was removed uneventfully. The patient was dischargedwithout complication.
