Abstract

          A case report of 67-year=old man with underlying aortic regurgitation with coronary arterial diseasepresented with one-month intermittent abdominal pain and one-day complete intestinal obstruction. An urgent operation was performed and the operative finding was consistent with a leltparaduodenal hernia.

          The content in the hernial sac was a small bowel loop which was reduced. A segment of small bowel wasresected due to ischemia and serosal tears. The entry route of hernia was closed. The patient was caredin the intensive care unit for 2 weeks and discharged from the hospital on the 3rdweek.
