Abstract

          A retrospective study of 313 cases of AFB stained positive case in Chaophayayommarat Hospital(Suphanburi province) were collected for mycobacterial culture during 1 January 2002 to 31 December 2004.Mycobacterium tuberculosis were isolated for 200 cases (63.9%) and 5 cases of mycobacterium aviumintracellulare complex (MAC) (2.5%) and susceptibility test shown that 16% were resistance to isoniazid,7.5% were resistance to rifampicin, 2% were resistance to ethambutol, 7.5% were resistance to streptomycin.Multi drugs resistance TB (MDR-TB) were found 6%
