Isolation Precaution Among Nursing Student in One Nursing College, Public Health Region 6

Abstract

          Objective: To study the behavior of isolation precaution among nursing students in one nursing college, public health region 6.

          Method: The crossectional study was conducted among nursing students in one nursing college, public health region 6 by using a structural questionnaire. Data analysis by descriptive and analytic statistics.

          Results: The results were that :

  1. Surveys reposted good levels of knowledge about isolation precaution among the target group.
  2. Good levels were scored by questionnaire surveyed about their attitude about isolation precaution.
  3. Medium levels were reported for amount of isolation precaution practice.
  4. There were not significant relationships between knowledge attitude and practice about isolation precaution.
  5. By using T-test in analyzing characteristics of studied subjects with the mean scores of knowledge

attitude practice about isolation precaution were not significantly diterence.

          Conclusion : With this evidence, it indicates that the effective learning and teaching should be implemented in nursing students.
