Ludwig’s Angina from Infection of impacted Tooth : A Case Report

Abstract

          A case of Ludwig’s angina in a 36 years old Thai male was reported. The lower right Third molar was the source of infection. Antibiotics were given to cover anaerobic and gram negative bacteria. Large amount of abscess was drained from the sublingual space under general anaesthesia. He responsed well to the treatment and had the causative tooth extracted alter the trismus subsided.
