Abstract

A case of unerupted right maxillary central incisor in a 12-year-old Thai boy who had history of surgically enucleate of odontoma and cystic lesion is presented. Maxillary central incisor impactions occur infrequently. It is important to detect and manage the problem as soon as possible. As missing maxillary incisors are regarded as unattractive and cause of speech difficulties that affect self-esteem and general social interaction. This paper presents etiology, clinical appearance, examination, surgical exposure and removable orthodontic treatment of impacted central incisor. The result of treatment was very satisfied.
