Cervical Carcinoma in Nakornpathom Hospital

Abstract

          315 cases of carcinoma of cervix in Nakhonpathom Hospital were analysed during the year 1999 to 2003. The patient’s age range was 24 to 86 years. Pathological data was found in 6 types. ordered from maximal to minimal cases : Invasive Squamous cell carcinoma (large cell non-keratinizing type), Squamous cell carcinoma in Situ, Adenocarcinoma, Squamous cell carcinoma (large cell keratinizing type), Adenosquamous cell carcinoma and Small cell carcinoma. Maximal cases were found at the age over 40 years. Associated finding is HPV infection.
