Paralysis Following the Ingestion of Horse Shoe Crab

Abstract

          A 42 year-old man presented with paresthesia around the mouth, tongue and generalize progressed to paralysis of respiratory muscle, 3 hours after ingestion of Horse Shoe Crab. The patient required  mechanical ventilation and supportive therapy until completed recover in 8th  day of admission. Dexamethasone and intensive care unit were important in the therapy. Review of the poisoning following the ingestion of Horse Shoe Crab.
