Abstract

 A retrospective study of 64 cases of decompressive craniectomy in patients with acute cerebral infarction of middle cerebral artery in Nakhonpathom hospital were collected during 1 January 1994-31 December 2003. The patients were 36 female and 28 male. The study shown that 54 death (84.38%) in 1 month after surgery.
