อุบัติเหตุรุนแรงต่อตาในโรงพยาบาลนครปฐม

Abstract

This report complied data of 508 patients from Nakhonpathom Provincial Hospital. All were admitted with at least one of the ophthalmologic injuries during the 37 month period from December 1, 1998 to December 31, 2001. Eighty percent of the cases were male (n = 388). The age range was rather wide, 5-45 years. Occupation was the cause for 233 case 43.9%. Unintentional eye injuries from plastic pistols and water throwning during Songkran Festival accounted for approximatly 25% (n = 133) of the cases. Primary prevention should reduce these injuries effectively"
