Abstract

A retrospective study of Pap smear screening 5 years from 1997-2001 was conducted in Nakornnayok Hospital. Only 9,034 women (2.48% of women population to be screened each year) had Pap smear screening, excluded unknown age group 185 cases only 8,849 cases were studied. Cytological Result were negative 80.38%. Inflammation 18.96%, CIN 1 = 0.27%, CIN 2 = 0.11%, CIN 3 = 0.12%, Invasive 0.15%. Comparing with Pap smear screening 5 years from 1987-1991 found that cervical cancer increased in younger age group and decreased in older age group.
