Abstract

          The exploration of medicinal plants in some areas of Bangkok and nearby provinces as a guideline for providing raw material of herbal products has been undertaken from December 1997 to July 1999. The amount of 50 medicinal plants in 29 families, 46 genera are reported. All of them were prepared for the herbarium specimens, kept in The Department of Medical Sciences Herbarium and some were collected for using as raw materials in relative study projects.
