Abstract

Form January 1995-December 2000. 459 pregnant women underwent genetic amniocentesis. There were 16 cases (3.5%) of abnormal chromosomes. Abortion rate within 28 days alter the procedure was 0%, Pregnancy outcome of the fetuses with normal chromosomes included spontaneous abortion 0.7%, preterm delivery 15.0%, and term delivery 84.3%
