Solid and Papillary Epithelial Neoplasm of the Pancreas

Abstract

A 23-year-old female presented with painless movable hard abdominal mass for 1 year. The operative findings showed a round hard consistency mass, freely mobile, adhere to 2nd  part of duodenum and head of pancreas but no evidence of blending its tissue to duodenum or pancreas  and could be totally excised as a complete single mass. Histological examination showed solid and papillary epithelial neoplasm of pancreas. This tumor is very rare and low-grade malignant neoplasm. Surgical resection is usually curative. Prognosis is good.
