Macerated stillbirth in Nakhonpathom Hospital

Abstract

From October 1995-September 1997 macerated stillbirth were 43.8% of perinatal mortality. In 53 stillbirths (macerated) 47.2% had body weight above 2,500 gm, 22.6% were SGA, 20.7% their mothers still had fetal quickening. Fetal autopsy in normalform stillbirth and biochemical serological test had little benefit in clinical practice.
