Abstract

The World Health Organization (WHO.) has pointed out that The Acute Flaccid Paralysis (AFP.) is one indicator sign of Polio situation, but nowadays the health practitioner might lack of the understanding of usefulness about disease surveillane. So the report of polio cases were lower than the fact. This investigation of AFP. case in Petchaburi Province is concerned to find the cause of disease. The results found that a three years ten months old female patient had the sign of AFP. The stool examination found the third type of Polio virus but we couIdn’t confirm that she had contacted Polio from the Polio vaccination or the Natural Polio, because she didn’t receive Polio vaccine as in the schedule whereas she received the lastest Polio vaccination before she became sick for less than 45 days and we examined the stool after the time that she received it 15 days.
