Discrepancy of Colposcopic Biopsy and Diagnostic Conization or Hysterectomy for the Diagnosis of Cervical lntraepithelial Neoplasia (CIN) in Nakhonpathom Hospital

Abstract

70 patients in Tumor clinic at Nakhonpathom hospital who had sastisfactory colposcopic  examination and their colposcopic directed biopsies revealed CIN were evaluated futher by diagnostic cervical conization or hysterectomy. Histology of the cone and Hysterectomy specimens showed carcinoma of cervix stage Ia1 in 4 patients which all of them had ClN3 on colposcopic biopsy. The discrepancy of colposcopic biopsy was 5.7%.
