Factors influence the Nursing Audit Performance

Abstract

This research aimed to study the supporting factors of the nursing audit performance. The samples composed of 299 nursing auditors in 19 regional hospital. The data were collected by the questionnaire and analyzed by using the SPSS/PC+ program. The statistics used were frequencies, percentages, arithmatic mean, standard deviation, and chi-square. The result was found that there were significant correlation between the nursing audit performance and supporting of organization (r = 0.4819), character of nursing auditor (r = 0.4212), nursing audit plan (r = 0.4912), doctors’ behavior (r = 0.3283) and nurses' behavior (r = 0.6408). The results suggested that the nursing audit performance depend on supporting of organization, character of nursing auditor, nursing audit plan, doctors’ behavior and nurses' behavior.
