Post - Operative Respirtory Complications in Chumphon Hospital
Abstract
Post - operative respiratory complication is one of the major problems accepted by every anaesthetist . Apart from its being frequently detected, it is still the one causing a severe morbidity and mortality. This report aims to present post- operative respiratory complication in Chumphon hospital.
The data of 8,845 patients in Chumphon hospital undergoing for operation during 1994 - 1996 were treated by nurse anaesthetists. The respiratory complications were found in 94 patients or 1.06% for cases.
