Abstract

The study of hazards which interfered the workers at Prachuapkhirikhan hospital have reported by the Occupational Medicine and the Occupational workers team. Identifying hazards by waIk-through survey between October-December 1994. It was found 27 departments that were in- terfered by hazards from 33 departments. Workers who exposed the hazards were 373 cases from 430 cases (86.74%). Most of the hazards were the physical hazards e.g. the problem of the light not enough or over for 63%. The accidental or unsafety disturbers were 62.79%. The ergonomic hazards were 16.51%. The biological hazards were 14.88%, and chemical hazards 10.23%. The occupational workers team provided the hospital staff the knowledge, prevention methods and corrected working environment to prevent diseases and the working accident.
