Abstract

Rectal atresia isa rare type of high anorectal malformations. Transanal, end-to-end, rectorectal anastomosis is a simplified technique for the surgical correction of rectal atresia. I report one  case of rectal atresia using midline sagittal incision over the metal bougie exposes the rectal pouch and a direct, end-to-end anastomosis was performed. Thepatient has normal fecal continence after one year and six months follow up.
