Abstract

          A retrospective study of 599 patients in Somdejprasangkharaj 17 Hospital between January 1, 1987 to December 31, 1991 were analysed. The patients were scoped with gastroscope and lesions was found for 66.11%. Dyspepsia or abdominal pain was the most chief symtom (71.79%) and gastrointestinal hemorrahge was the second (22.37%). The most pathological organ was stomach (74.77%). The lesion was founded to be gastritis (43.86%), gastric ulcer (31.81%), duodenitis (11.36%) and duodenal ulcer (9.03%).
