Weight and Height of School-Aged Children in Photharam District, Ratchaburi Province

Abstract

          Weight and height of 13,236 school children, age ranging from 6 to 18 years in Photharam district, Ratchaburi province was studied. The result was found that, at the age 6 to 14 years, the weight of girls was greater than boys. At the age 15 years it was not different but at the age 16 to 18 years the weight of boys was greater than girls. The result of the height study was similar to the weight study. In comparison to the study of the Department of Health, there was no statistical difference.
