Perinatal Mortality in Nakhonpathom Hospital in 1994-1995

Abstract

From October 1993-September 1994 and October 1994-September 1995, perinatal mortality in Nakhonpathom hospital were 12.0 and 9.6 per 1,000 live births respectively. The main causes of death were macerated stillbirth and congenital malformation. To reduce perinatal mortality we will improve antenatal care quality especially in the methods for assessement of fetal well being and screening fetal malformation by ultrasound.
