Dehydration Fever of the Newborn in Somdejphrasangkharaj 17 Hospital

Abstract

Dehydration fever of the healthy newborn infant in Somdejprasangkharaj 17 hospital was retrospectively studied. There were 1,050 healthy neonates who were born in 1994 and fed breast milk only. The incidence of fever was higher than 1,046 healthy neonates who were born in 1991 and fed breast milk with 5% dextrose in water (P < 0.01).
