Abstract

          A retrospective study was made of 40 patients who has hydatidiform mole diagnosed at Chaoprayayomraj Hospital from 1989 -1993. The incidence of molar pregnancy was 1 in 336 deliveries. 95% had income per month lower than 2,000 bahts and studied primary school. The majority of patients was found in 15 -25 years old women. 55% were multipara. The Symptoms were bleeding per vagina, nausea and vomiting. 5% had toxaemia of pregnancy. All of these patients were treated by vacuum aspiration and sharp curettage. 42.5% had long term follow up and only one case turned to be invasive mole.
