Chyloperitoneum : An Unusual Complication of Anterior Lumbar lnterbody Fusion.

Abstract

          Chyloretroperitoneum as a complication of anterior lumbar interbody fusion is described in case of tuberculous spondylitls. Metabolic complication developed alter treatment with total parenteral nutrition therapy when chyloperitoneum was noted. The surgical exploration was performed to control the chyle extravasation by suture ligation.
