Invention of Breathing Circuit Drier-cabinet in Makarak Hospital

Abstract

The Drier-cabinet was invented for drying the breathing circuit in Makarak Intensive Care Unit. By simple technique and resources, it spent only 5,000 Bahts to build the cabinet. Ten months follow up, the Drier-cabinet showed a satisfactory result, the breathing circuits were dried within half to one and a half hour instead of 24-48 hours. So, the paper is presented, as a guide line, in order to encourage the budget limited hospitals to build the cabinet by themselves.
