Ruptured Liver Abscess

Abstract

Three cases of ruptured liver abscess were reported. All cases were men, age 36, 44 and 55 years old respectively. All cases presented with acute severe abdominal pain and fever. Surgical treatment of the first two cases were external drainage of the abscess cavities and appendectomy. Surgical treatment of the third case were choledocholithotomy and choledochoduodenostomy with external drainage of the abscess cavity. The result were good.
