Pasteurella Multocida Bacteremia

Abstract

Pasteurella multocida bacteremia are relatively intrequent. We report a study of 13,167 blood cultures yielded 1,807 positive blood cultures, which 3 positive were P. multocida (0.16%). The organism was sensitive to aminoglycosides, ampicillin, Chloramphenicol and Co-trimoxazole.
