Screw Fixation in Facet Dislocation

Abstract

From 1988-1991, 8 patients with cervical facet dislocation, average age 34.8 years, 9 males and 1 females. Six patients were quadriplegic. These pateints were operated with screw fixation at facet joint in order to care these patients better and to prevent other system complication. Stability was obtained after screw fixation. External support was not nesscely. This technique is very simple, need no special instrument. There was no complication from operation.
