Closed Femur Nailing, Nakhonpathom Technique

Abstract

Closed intramedullary nailing was widely use now. From July 1991-May 1992, 30 patients in Nakorn Pathom hospital were operated closed intramedullary nailing by Nakhonpathom technique, 18 were simple nail, 12 were interlocking nail. Nakhonpathom technique is technique that modify technique in the past to improve surgical technique by makeing medullary canal straight and use Kuntcher nail help reduction for simple, quickness, decrease exposure to radiation, less soft tissue injury and less assistance
