Abstract

Thirty nine children of supracondylar fracture, treated in Paholpolpayuhasena Hospital during June 1990 to June 1992, were reviewed for their post-treatment limitation of the elbow. There were 39 children in all, ranging in age from 1 1/2 to 14 year old. There were 28 boys and 11 girls. Physical therapy, aimed at reducing elbow deformities, was able to increase range of motion at acceptable range, about 25-120 degrees in 17 children. Seven children lost to follow up. Satisfactory improvement could not be attained in another 15 children.
