Abstract

A 41 weeks pregnant woman delivered active infant, 3,700 gms. Placenta was delivered by modified Crede maneuver follow by uterine inversion. Postpartum hemorrhage was noted also with hypotension. Manual replacement of the inversion wae unsuccessful. Exploratory laparotomy was performed to replace the uterus but patient developed uterine atony. Finally, subtotal hysterectomy was done.
