Quality Assessment of Influenza Antigen Test Kit

Abstract

          The quality assessment of Influenza Antigen Test Kit by Sanpasitthiprasong HospitalUbon Ratchathani Province was done during 2014-2016. 71 Samples from nasal and throat swab from risk patient were screening test and confirm by PCR. The study test kits were One Step Influenza Virus Type A, B, and A (H1N1) Pandemic Rapid Test (SD BIO LINE Influenza Ag A/ B/A (H1N1) Pandemic. This test kit correlated result with PCR method in Sensitivity, specificity, Accuracy, False positive and False negative were 65.52, 95.24, 83.10, 9.52 and 20.00 percent respectively.
