These annual awards are to celebrate articles published in the Siriraj Medical Journal (SMJ) which recieve the highest citation numbers.
1. is a member of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University;
2. is the Corresponding Author or First Author of the article;
3. is under no Ethical Considerations of any kinds;
4. if obtained figues or data from a third party to publish in the article; has received an official permission to distribute or modify said material.
Articles will be assessed from Scopus website only, against the following criteria:
Category A - Receives more than 10 citations
Category B - Receives between 5 - 10 citations
The winners of the Citation Awards will receive:
Category A - A prize of THB30,000 per article
Category B - A prize of THB10,000 per article
+ An invitation to the award ceremony presented by Dean of Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. In the event that it is not possible or advisable to hold such a ceremony, an alternative virtual presentation or acknowledgement will be arranged.
