Siriraj Medical Journal Citation Awards
The Siriraj Medical Journal (SMJ) is proud to present the annual Citation Awards, recognizing outstanding research published in the journal that has garnered significant scientific impact.
Eligibility:
- Authored or co-authored an article published in SMJ within the past year.
- Must be a member of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University (for the Corresponding Author or First Author).
- Be free of any ethical concerns related to the published research.
- Obtained proper permissions for using any third-party figures or data in the article.
Evaluation Criteria:
Articles published within the past year will be evaluated based on their citation count retrieved from the Scopus database. Awards will be presented in two categories:
- Category A: Articles with more than 10 citations (Prize: THB 30,000 per article)
- Category B: Articles with 5-10 citations (Prize: THB 10,000 per article)
Recognition and Benefits:
- Winners will be invited to a prestigious award ceremony hosted by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. (In case an in-person ceremony is not feasible, an alternative virtual event or acknowledgment will be arranged.)
- Each winner will receive a certificate of recognition.
- Winning articles will be featured on the University's websites and press releases.
- Award recipients will be profiled on the Siriraj Medical Journal website.
