บทคัดย่อ
การศึกษาวิจัยนี้ เป็นการวิจัยเชิงพรรณนา (Descriptive research) มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาผลการดำเนินงานการบริการของศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กและเพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างคุณสมบัติของครูผูู้ดูแลเด็กและพี่เลี้ยงเด็กกับผลการดำเนินงานการบริการของศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก เขตอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดปทุมธานี โดยศึกษาในศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กที่สังกัดองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น ตั้งอยู่ในเขตอำเภอเมือง 14 ตำบล จำนวน 15 ศูนย์ และคำนวณหาจำนวนกลุ่มตัวอย่างด้วยวิธีของเครซี่และมอร์แกน (Krejcie & Morgan) ได้ศูนย์เด็กเล็กเพื่อการศึกษา 14 ศูนย์ ผู้ให้ข้อมูล คือครูผู้ดูแลเด็กและพี่เลี้ยงเด็กที่ปฏิบัติงานในศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก ซึ่งสุ่มตัวอย่างด้วยวิธีตามความสะดวก (Convenient sampling) เครื่องมือวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถามและแบบทดสอบความรู้
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า
- ในการดำเนินงานการบริการของศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็กด้านที่มีการปฏิบัติตามเกณฑ์ระดับมากที่สุด คือด้านการส่งเสริมสุขภาพ และด้านการส่งเสริมพัฒนาการเด็กด้านที่มีการปฏิบัติตามเกณฑ์ระดับมาก ได้แก่ ด้านการจัดสภาพแวดล้อม ด้านความสะอาดของอาหาร ด้านบุคลากร และด้านการมีส่วนร่วมของผู้ปกครอง
- ความรู้ในการดูแลเด็กปฐมวัยของครูผู้ดูแลเด็กและพี่เลี้ยงเด็กไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับการดำเนินงานการบริการของศูนย์พัฒนาเด็กเล็ก
ข้อเสนอแนะ ควรวางแผนส่งครูผู้ดูแลเด็กและพี่เลี้ยงเด็กทุกคน ให้ได้รับการอบรมในเรื่องพัฒนาการเด็กและการเลี้ยงดูเด็ก อย่างน้อยปีละ 20 ชั่วโมง เพื่อให้ทุก
