Nursing care for Cholecystectomy and underlying disease : 2 case study
Abstract
Background : Gallstones in the gallbladder are diseases that need surgery to prevent the occurrence of complications. Such as inflammation of the gallbladder Nursing of patients before and after surgery is important in patient care for safety and prevention of complications.
Objectives : To study the nursing of gallbladder gallstone surgery patients with joint disease.
Methods : Study of 2 patients, specifically selected patients who have gallbladder surgery to compare nursing care of patients who undergo gallbladder calculi surgery during open cholecystectomy and laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Who was hospitalized in BangPlee Hospital by studying the patient's history from inpatient medical records patients and relatives history taking, observation, comparative data analysis based on 11 health patterns of Gordon from pathology, symptoms and signs. Treatment by gallbladder surgery. Problems and diagnoses in nursing during preoperative period Postoperative and discharge planning
Result : Case Study 1: Thai man, aged 64 years, comes with a 5-hour stomachache before coming to the hospital doctors diagnose gallstones with Acute cholecystitis receiving Open Cholecystectomy Surgery postoperative complications were found with fluid collection and fever. Need to get antibiotics patients with better symptoms can be sold back home.
Case Study 2: with an appointment to stay in the hospital for gallstone surgery in the gallbladder. Gallstones doctors get Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy no complications were found after surgery. Can be sold back home
Conclusion : This case study shows the process of caring for patients undergoing gallbladder surgery open cholecystectomy and laparoscopic cholecystectomy and comparing the differences of both types of surgery.
