The Service of Quality in provement on Primary Care Award in the LadpatthanaSub-district Health Promoting Hospital, Maung District, MahaSarakham Province.

Abstract

                               The purpose of this action research was to develop the quality service process in primary care units under the standardization of the Primary Care Award-PCA.  32 participants who involved in the development process were recruited using purposive sampling method from the Ladpatthana Sub-district Health Promoting Hospital in Mahasarakham. The study was performed during October 2013 to May 2014. Questionnaires, focus group discussion and in-depth interview used in this study. Descriptive statistics and inferential statistic were used for quantitative data analysis and content analysis used for qualitative data analysis.

                              The results showed that the development process called LAD-PCA model, consists of 13 steps and 6 elements which consist of L- Learning, A - Assignment, D - D Day or quality day, P - Positive thinking, C- Community empowerment, and A – Appreciation. After the study, people who participated in this study was significantly more satisfaction, and participation level (p<0.05), than before the study

                            In conclusion, the key success factors in this development process was PCA, that composed of 13 stages of process (P),co-ordination of teamwork (C), actors of leadership and staff committed to development process (A).
