Operation Model of Child care center in accordance With the disease-free Standards of child care centers,

Abstract

                   This research was conducted to develop the operations of the chlid care center in accordance with the disease-free standards ofchild care centers, Ban Nongbok, Tambon puhtthaisong, puhtthaisong District, Buriram Province. The action research was run following the cycles of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting steps. The samples consisted of 64 stakeholders who were Chief Executive of the SAO, educator, committee ofchild care center, nanny teachers, and parents. Quantitativeand qualitativedata werecollected usingquestionnaires,interviews, and observation.The statisticsused for data analysisincludedpercentage, mean, standard deviation, and Paired t - test.

                    The results showed that Ban Nongbok child care center had improved the operation and passed 33 items from 35 items of the standards set of the disease-free child care centers (94.28%). It was increasing more than before doing this research that passed only 25 items. Moreover, the average scores of knowledge, participation and operation, were increased significantly (p-value <0.05). It was clear that the improvement of the child care center to become the disease-free place. composed of operational meetings, current situation and problem analyses, implementation, training, sharing learning experiences, follow-up, observation, performance discussion, and after action reviews.

                    In summary, the operation of child care center could be success by the participation of the stakeholders. If they have knowledge and understanding, they can participate and perform their roles well. Therefore, the child care centers will improve to the standards of the disease-free child care centers.
