Factors affecting of teenage pregnancy who check up at Phonphisai antenatal care clinic , Phonphisai district, Nongkhai province

Abstract

              This  survey  research  aimed  to  study  factors affecting  of  teenage pregnancy  who check  up  at  Phonphisai  antenatal  care  clinic  , Phonphisai   district, Nongkhai  province.  The   samples  were  select by  convenience  random  sampling  100  persons of teenage  pregnancy  between  11-19  years  old  who check up  at  Phonphisai  antenatal  care  clinic  between   1^th October  2014- 31^th January  2015  at 95% statistical confidence level. The  internal  consistency  of  the  questionnaires  were  more  than 0.70  by  alpha cronbach,  and data were analyzed by percentage,mean, standard deviation , t-test and One Way ANOVA  by application software.

              The findings revealed that :  majority  of  teenage pregnancy (60 percent) had self-care  score in  moderate  ranges.  majority  of  teenage pregnancy (93 percent) had  family’s  care  score in  low  ranges.  majority  of  teenage pregnancy (62 percent) had social  and  economic’s  care  score in  low  ranges.  Separated  age  groups  find  that  each  age group   was affecting  to  teenage  pregnancy  not  differently.  Separated  highest  education  groups  of  principle  parent  find  that  each  education group  was  affecting  to  teenage pregnancy  differently  by significant at the  .05 level  2  pairs,  were  bachelor’s  degree  group  had  family’s  care  more  than  primary  degree  group  and  bachelor’s  degree  group  had  family’s  care  more  than  vocational  diploma  degree  group.  Separated  occupation groups  of  principle  parent  find  that  each  occupation  group  was  affecting  to  teenage pregnancy  differently  by significant  at the  .05  level , 1  pair  was  government  officer  or  state  enterprise  employee group  had  family’s  care  more  than  merchant  group. Separated  family’s  income  groups  find  that  each  family’s  income  group  was  affecting  to  teenage  pregnancy  differently  by significant  at  the .05  1  pair  was  30,001 –40,000 baths group  had  family’s  care  more  than  10,001 -20,000 baths group.  The  important  problems  of  teenage pregnancy  were worried  for pregnant.  Serioused  in  physical  condition  and  sadly.
