Knowledge, Attitude and Self Practice towards Disease Control among Diabetics Patients, Banrai Hospital Uthaithani Province.

Abstract

This descriptive study aimed to assess  Knowledge  Attitude  for behavior   to control   Diabetes  Mellitus  patients  of  Banrai  Hospital  Uthaithani  province. Samples were  Diabetes  Mellitus  patients  receive  treatment and  nursing  in  Diabetes  Mellitus  clinic of  Banrai  Hospital  Uthaithani  Province ,were  120  Diabetes  Mellitus  patients      Purposive sampling with inclusion criteria was used .  Research instrument developed by the researcher was the content validity was confirmed by three experts. The reliability of   knowing   to   control  Diabetes  Mellitus    by  using  Kuder-Richardson (KR-20).  Sampling Attitude  of   Diabetes  Mellitus  for  to  control  Diabetes  Mellitus    and   behavior  for  to control  Diabetes  Mellitus    patients  of questionnaire tested by using  Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was 0.72, 0.95, and 0.89, respectively.  Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistic (i.e. frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation) and Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation.
