THE DEVELOPMENT OF A MODEL FOR CERVICAL CANCER SCREENING SERVICES FOR WOMEN AT RISK, AS A RESULT OF PARTICIPATION OF THE HEALTH NETWORK IN CHIANG PENG SUB-DISTRICT, PATIU DISTRICT, YASOTHON PROVINCE.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is a health problem that may affect more women. However, cervical cancer can be easily detected in the first stage by means of cervical cancer screening, and then it can be treated. For women at risk for an increase in cervical cancer screening, which they may receive they get participation with a health network.

This research was the participatory by action research, which aimed at studying state of community participation and  development of a model for cervical cancer screening services in the community. The subjects consisted of 55 persons who were community leaders and stakeholders. Development processes included workshops applying the concept of community Participation and Technology of Participation of King Pokklao's institute and appreciate influence control. Qualitative data were gathered by in-depth interview. The quantitative data analysis employed percentages, means, and standard deviations.

The results revealed development of a model for cervical cancer screening services for women at risk by participating in this 8 step 1) Educational context and conditions for the participation of the community 2) Informative community 3) Workshop on participatory planning 4) Implement the action plan 5) Follow up and monitoring 6) Cervical cancer screening campaign 7) sharing knowledge activity 8) Evaluation and success factors. After implementing the NOCA model of the operation of the Network and Key Actors, Awareness to risk group, Community Support Techique and Offensive Care.

In conclusion, the key success model of development of a model for Cervical Cancer Screening Services. Usingtechnology toengage. Resulted intheparticipationof the community, including thesearch foratrulycooperationcomplicity. And evaluation. Which allowsa womenwith cervical cancer screening behaviorsareappropriate.
