The Development Of Patient Advocacy Practice Model For Information Nangrong Hospital Buriram Province

Abstract

The objective of this descriptive developmental research was to develop of patient advocacy practice model for information giving of staff nurses at Nangrong hospital Buriram province. The sample was 58 professional nurses, selected by purposive sampling method. The research instrument were one questionnaire namely Knowledge of information giving advocacy practice for patient. The questionnaire was tested for reliability. The cronbachûs alpha coefficiency was 0.71. The statistics utilized in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation and paired t - test. The result of this study indicate that Mean score of knowledge of information giving advocacy practice for patient after develop from The patient advocacy practice model for information giving highly than before training (X = 29.16, SD = 1.17), And Knowledge differently before training (X = 24.93, SD = 2.58) respectively (t = 10.30, p < 0.05) And The development in this research has the practice model for information giving in patient acute myocardial infarction.
