The Effect of Application Management Program through out the model of Learning and the Group Processes to encourage diabetes patients for controlary blood sugar level at Warinchamrab District, Ubonratchathani Province.

Abstract

          The  most  common  type  of  diabetes  found  in  Thailand  is  type 2 diabetes. Most  patients  died  from the  complications  due to uncontrollable blood  sugar level.This quasi - experimental  research  aimed  to  explore  the outcome  of  the   management  program  learning  model  and  group  processing  to  control  blood  sugar  level  among  insulin  independence  diabetes  patients   was  to  examine  the  effectiveness  of  dietary  intake, enhanced  physical  activities, and  medication  intake  for  diabetes  control. Samples  were  type 2  diabetes  patients  with  uncontrollable  blood  sugar  level at  Warinchamrab  District, Ubonratchathani  Province  who  had  been  separated  into  an  experimental group  and  a  comparison  group  of  40  samples  each.The  study    lasted   for  12 weeks. Data were analyzed by using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and the difference between the experimental group and the comparison group were analyzed using Independent t-test, paired t-test.  The  Results  findings  indicated  that  higher post-test  results  in  the experimental group  than  the  comparison  group,  having   statistical  significance (p <0.001) of perceived  diabetes  complications severity, expectation in self-efficacy  towards  controlling  the  blood  sugar  level and  the  effectiveness  in  responding  and  practicing  the  control  of  blood  sugar  level. In  addition, at  post-test, the  numbers  of  diabetes  patients  were  reduced of  blood  sugar  level  and   lower   than  those  the  comparision  group. In conclusion, the Management  Program through out the  model of   Learning  and  the  Group  Processes  to  encourage  diabetes  patients  for controlary  blood  sugar  level  could  change  behavior  of    insulin  independence   diabetes  patients  appropriately  and   better  control  their  blood  sugar  level.
