Case report : Endodontic treatment in cracked tooth with endo-perio lesion : 2.5 yrs. Follow-up.

Differential diagnosis of the primary cause of endo-perio lesions is crucial for prognosis, planning and successful treatment. This case report revealed complete healing or success of endodontic treatment in a cracked lower secondary molar with endo-perio lesions. Clinical methods and radiographic examinations indicated primary endodontic lesions. Treatment was only endodontic treatment and recently cuspal protection with full coverage crown. In 2.5 years, Tooth 37 was found to be asymptomatic. The gingival condition was good and the periodontal pocket was normal. The healing of periapical and furcation lesions was also presented. Radiographic examination showed regeneration of bone in the areas.
