Applied Science in Public Health Thailand 4.0 Public health Context under Community Health Professional Act BE 2556

Abstract

            Applying science to the public health causes public health innovations to benefit the people of Thailand affecting health and quality of life of the people targeted to Thailand 4.0. The practice of public health is a public health action for individuals, communities and the environment. The application of scientific principles involves taking action on occupational and environmental health to control the factors that cause the diseases, reduce the risk and sickness of family and community. This is a part of the provisions of section 3 of the Community Health Professional Act BE 2556, Thailand in Health 4.0 by implementing the 20-year national strategy of the Ministry of Public Health to drive Thailand Phase 1 (2560-2564), Phase 2 (2560-2564), Phase 3 (2570-2574) and Phase 4 (2575-2579). Thailand will be one of three countries in Asia with 4 Excellence Strategies: 1) promote health and disease prevention. 2) excellent service; 3) excellent management with good governance; 4) excellent personnel in Thailand 4.0 in public health.  In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has coordinated with other Ministry to further develop strategies to enhance Thai children's potential.
