Oral health related quality of life and satisfaction received dental implants for single crown Phuwiang

Abstract

This cross - sectional descriptive study aimed to assess quality of life in terms of oral health and satisfaction after obtained dental implants and crowns services at Phu - wiang hospital about the oral impact on the daily performance index. The 43 cases data were collected between 2 – 27 September 2022, by using the questionnaire and were analyzed by descriptive statistics including percentage, means, standard deviation, minimum and maximum values.

The study indicated that 38 from 43 participants (88.40%) (x̅ = 4.86, SD = 0.41) emphasized the satisfaction score to the aspect of a proper oral examination and the hearty advice of dental care experts. Secondly, concerning life quality, 29 participants (67.44%) (x̅ = 1.88, SD = 1.92) have a problem with eating. Finally, according to the previous 29 participants, 20 respondents (46.51%) (x̅ = 0.79, SD = 1.10) have a severe issue that affected their quality of life.
